Interview with Veteran Broadway Actor Arbender Robinson

Picture
Arbender Robinson is one of the coolest people I've had the opportunity to interview. He's also one of the most grateful people I know, which I think is ultra-important if you want to be successful in life.

I love this interview because Arbender goes into extreme detail talking about what he's done over the years to take his acting career from zero to the level it's currently at - 11 Broadway shows (including Hairspray and Book of Mormon) and numerous film and television appearances! This is one interview you truly won't want to miss.

Key Takeaways:

  • A specific and simple strategy to book your first Broadway without an agent (just as Arbender did).
  • Learn how to negotiate your salary effectively.
  • Become a networking and follow-up pro.
  • And lots more...
Too busy to watch right now?
I'll send you a cheat sheet that covers the most important points from the interview and how to apply them to your own acting career.

Arbender's Bio:

Arbender Robinson made his Broadway debut in the Tony Award winning production of Hairspray where he played the role of Seaweed. He's been featured in over 11 Broadway productions. Prior to moving to NYC, Arbender was a featured vocalist with Royal Caribbean Cruises as well as an actor and vocalist for numerous Disney productions at Walt Disney World. When asked to describe the vocal ability of Arbender, one critic said “clear, effective, killer range of death...and that is a good thing. Look out Billy Porter, Arbender has arrived“ As a teaching artist, Arbender has worked with many organizations around the country and has a very unique teaching style that's accessible to all ages and talent levels. He also works to bring arts awareness to programs all over the country as well as serving as a huge advocate for Autism awareness and research.
