Makeup can fix blemishes, lighten under eye circles, and smooth out skin tones and redness in the face, and contour jaw lines.
Much of this can be done in Photoshop as well, but if you're wanting to use a wider range of images from your session without having to pay for additional retouched pictures, a makeup artist can be beneficial.

Women
We carry a range of high-quality products so there is no need to bring any makeup with you. If there is a lip color or mascara you are very fond of and would like to bring it, we can add it into your look as well (related article - What to Bring). Please be sure to let us know if you have any allergies before your shoot so we can make sure that our products will accommodate your needs.
Note: Our stylists are very familiar working with all different skin tones, hair types, and ethnicities, but if you have a very specific question, feel free to ask - [email protected].
Important Note 1: Makeup cannot remove wrinkles, change face shape, remove minuscule flyaway hairs from wind, or fix certain other tiny little imperfections that may happen while we shoot. For smaller images, this is rarely a problem. But for a truly perfect final image (especially if you plan to use it in a large format), you may want to consider digital retouching as well - this is included with most of our packages.

Hair Styling
For hair styling, it is best to come with your hair mostly ready, and then the stylist will spruce it up. Unless otherwise noted in the package you select, there will not be time for a full blow-out or complete hair styling before your shoot begins. Also, please note that we cannot do any hair cutting in the studio. If you are interested in blow-outs and more advanced hair styling, we partner with a few hair salons near our studios and might be able to get you a special discount - just ask.
