A Shoutout to My Friend Ramit Sethi

It's hard to find people who really go above and beyond.

These days, the world is full of people who talk a good game, but when it comes time to deliver, they're just full of fluff.

Not Ramit Sethi.

I felt the urge to write this short post because ever since I found out about him a few years ago, my business has been on a HUGE upswing.

I've learned a lot about business from books, and have done 1-1 work with Jay Abraham and spent tens of thousands of dollars attending Tony Robbins seminars.

But nothing I've learned from either of them comes even CLOSE to what Ramit offers.

Ramit is not about grand strategy and psychology – although there's plenty of that.

He's about the nuts and bolts, "Here's EXACTLY what you need to do, step by step."

​Ramit's Six Figure Consulting

The first course I bought from Ramit was called Ramit's Six Figure Consulting.

He recommended it to me as a way to see new opportunities to grow my headshot business significantly.

The concepts were all there. I learned everything I needed to know to see beyond the limitations of my current business model, and I instantly know how I could grow my business to the next level.

I began implementing what I learned from the course, within just a few months we grew by $100k in revenue that year. Big ROI considering the course only cost me $8k to join.

And to date I've only implemented ONE of the strategies outlined in that course. I am currently working on the second one, which is to diversify my income.

I am now beginning to build an online component to my business.

​Earn 1K on the Side

After buying Ramit's Six Figure Consulting, I decided that I should learn more about the basics of business.

Even though my company was earning well over $500k by that point, a lot of it had been luck and getting my site onto the first page of Google.

So I decided it would make sense to learn some of the basics because I also wanted to help my sister grow her own coaching business, and I figured that Earn1K could help with that.

Earn1K did NOT disappoint, and a clearer picture of how successful businesses are built started to emerge.

Call to Action

As I continued implementing Ramit's material into my business, I began to realize that I needed to learn how to write better copy if I wanted to be able to build an online business.

Ramit emailed back and forth with me a few times and I decided to invest in Call to Action.

And damn was that program FANTASTIC.

Call to Action taught me everything I needed to know to sell products and services online. I learned about customer research, I learned about how to get email subscribers, and I even learned how to write amazingly effective sales pages.

I went from having 4-5 subscribers a week to 4-5 subscribers per DAY.

This course ABSOLUTELY saved me at least 5-6 YEARS of time learning how to write copy, and I still keep returning to it for refreshers every few months.

​Greenlight Your Idea

Soon after Call to Action, I decided to buy Greenlight Your Idea.

This is a short and sweet mini-course that tells you EXACTLY how to know when your idea is ready to take action on.

I've used the customer research scripts from it at least 30-40 times so far and EVERY call I've done has been a success.

I also no longer waste months of time creating products or services only to realize no one wants them.

Such a time saver, I loved this mini-course.

​Earnable

Finally, Earnable.

​Ramit recently launched his new flagship course called Earnable.

​As someone who runs a six figure business, I originally thought Earnable would be too basic for me. I had already bought Earn1K, so how much better could Earnable be?

Boy was I wrong.

Ramit suggested I try out the course, and I was floored to realize that it contained EVERYTHING I needed to know to be able to turn my offline headshot business (City Headshots) into an online information business.

I learned things like the strategy of pricing, the best ways to productize, and even great ideas for giveaways to get more subscribers.

And that's barely scratching the surface.

With Earnable, I have officially begun profiting from the online portion of my business, and I haven't even made it through the entire course yet.

My first ever launch before Earnable brought in $0.00.

My most recent launch sold many copies of my course and EVERY day now I get at least 3-4 emails from people who respond to my emails and engage with my content.

I actually just ran my first webinar and had 40 people attend, many of whom stayed the entire time and took tons of notes and emailed questions.

And I still have so far to go and so much more to implement from Earnable.

But it's FUN, and I no longer feel overwhelmed in my business.

He teaches authentic selling and shows you exactly how to go from ZERO to PROFITABLE and beyond, even if you have no idea what to sell.

Each of his courses provide immense value and have been extraordinarily helpful as I've grown my business.

I'm no longer floundering with Shiny Object Syndrome.

I now have a very clear path laid out before me, and I know EXACTLY what to do at every step of the way.

I really want to invest in Endless Audience next because I know with that course and all the traffic I'll begin seeing, my business will start to multiply in ways I can't even imagine.
