Uzni is a really cool gal. She decided to hire me after checking out my website and she admitted that my work looked really good. We went outdoors and tried to get a great looking set of photos for her and we were successful. I can't wait to shoot Headshots for Uzni in the future!
I shot Headshots for Lauren which turned out great. She had a great time and walked away with an amazing new set of headshots!
I did Headshots for Nick, an that was another fun and relaxing experience. That is why I like shooting headshots, because I make new friends, meet new people, and have a really fun time! Nick was referred to me by a good friend of his, Josh Rothberg, who had gotten headshots with me in the past and was so satisfied that he definitely wanted all of his friends to hire me.
Adam was pretty cool to shoot Headshots with because he was definitely willing to experiment, something that a lot of headshot clients are afraid of doing. Because of his willingness, we were able to get some pretty interesting Headshots, and he was very happy at the end of the session.
Campbell was fun to work with. She is really a nice girl and we had a great time doing her Headshots.
Alicia has these awesome green eyes that make her look really cool. Her Headshots were super intense because of that. It would up being a very successful two hour shoot that we did and she was extremely satisfied with the photos when we were finished.
Shanique came with her brother, and they were so happy by the end of the session that he said he would definitely be booking me in the future to do his headshots.
Isabella was really fun to take Headshots for because she had lots of interesting stories to tell me. We talked about all kinds of different things, which helped her get her mind off the Headshots and gave her a much more natural look. Overall, it was definitely a successful shoot and she was very happy with her new Headshots.
Shania was really fun to work with because she had such a great smile. I was able to get really experimental with the angles for her Headshots and we took some great photos. Hopefully we get to work together in the future!!
Merci was a cool client because she's an author, and I don't often shoot authors. It was fun because we did a 30 minute shoot outdoors and just went to a few spots, and she ended up loving her photos. Hopefully as get to shoot Headshots together again in the future!
Shayne was an awesome headshot client. We went out and literally within 30 minutes, were able to get some amazing shots. We had a really fun time and it was a great experience. I'm looking forward to shooting again with her sometime in the future, since she is such a nice person and so easy to work with!
Rae Wright, a professor of mine from NYU and a great actor, decided to hire me to shoot her headshots. It was a really fun experience and we took a lot of pictures and a few of them came out amazing. She was really happy with the results, and I'm hoping that we can perhaps work again together sometime in the future.
Janelle found one of my old ads in the Tisch building of NYU. I had hung up some ads a while back offering a discount if people saw the ad for $50 instead of my usual price of $150. It was nice doing a session for an NYU student because i usually get peopler who have nothing in common with me, so it was kind of fun. Fortunately, Janelle loved the headshots a ton and says sher is looking forward to doing another session with me in the future.
Samantha and Melissa decided to both come to me for headshots because they needed new ones and were friends with each other. They took advantage of both my student discount and bring a friend discount, and wound up getting their photos for a really good price. both of them loved the way the shots came out and then we went out to Lombardi's afterwards to get pizza! It was a really fun time and I hope to work with them again in the future.
About a month and ten days after shooting initially with Christian, he came back to me with his two daughters, wanting to do a fun family photoshoot. We went outside and walked around to a few different locations and took a bunch of fun pictures. Though it was col, it was still a great time, and I'm still waiting to hear back from him regarding which photos he'd like edited.
Tiffany Johnson, author of "Enough is Enough," hired me to do her press kit photos before her book had been published. by now, her book is finished and up for sale. It is all about her experience dealing with domestic violence and a near death experience in which her right eye was damaged so badly that she can no longer open it. We had a great time shooting the photos together in my studio and outdoors, and they loved the way the photos came out. I hope I have the opportunity to work with Tiffany again, as she is a really nice person and easy to work with.
Adrian came to me through Model Mayhem, mentioning he needed new headshots. He at first asked if I was interested in doing a TFCD session, meaning Time For CD, where I shoot photos of him and give them to him for free in exchange to use them as samples on my website. I said that unfortunately I don't do that anymore, however he was still interested in shooting with me, and so we would up shooting a bunch of photos. It was a good experience, and hopefully I can shoot with him again in the future.
Keydra was referred to me through a good friend of mine Dior Allen, who I have recently been helping with shooting webisodes. When Keydra came, she wasn't entirely sure what she wanted and since it was cold out, we decided to mostly do the photos indoors. But we did end up going outside as well, and all the photos she got wound up looking great. There were definitely a few things I would have done differently, but she and I think all in all it was a great experience, especially for the price Keydra paid.
Danny Jolles had acted in a music video that I did in the past, and he later contacted me for headshots, something that made me very happy. He wanted to do his shots indoors, since it was still so cold out, and so we set up in my studio. It was fun because he wanted to do funny expressions and try all kind of new things, most of which wound up looking great... and some not so much ;)
I hope to do another outdoor shoot with Danny sometime soon!
Dora found me through Google and sent me a website contact form and I responded right away to her. Shortly thereafter, we met up to start shooting, and did a number of headshots indoors. She was extremely pleased with the results and is planning on doing another shoot with me outdoors sometime in the future, which I am definitely looking forward to.
Wilmari was referred to me by a good friend of mine, Shannon, who, along with me and my friends, just graduated from NYU as well. Wilmari came on Shannon's recommendation because I had done headshots for Shannon in the past and she liked them a lot. So when Wilmari came, she had her hopes and expectations high, but fortunately said that I still exceeded her expectations. We got a ton of amazing shots and she has been using them ever since.
On February 19th, I remember meeting with Patrick and his mother in the lobby of my building and heading outside to shoot headshots for him, since he is an actor. The first thing I remember is his and his mother's surprise when they saw I was only 21 years old. Though skeptical at first, they soon became extremely happy when they saw my first test shot and the way it looked. After about an hour or two of shooting, we had a whole bunch of amazing looking pictures, both indoor and outdoor, and since then Patrick has gotten a lot of acting jobs with them!
Christian was a cool client because we shot a number of corporate headshots for a column he had written. The shots came out great, and we had shot them outdoors in Soho. Fortunately, he wound up coming back to me a few months later to do another photo shoot with his two daughters, and we had a fun time at that too!
JayElle was an excellent client and we got a number of amazing photos with her. We had a great time shooting around in Soho, and she has since used her photos for getting a lot of work. I hope that we can work together again sometime in the future, as she was one of the best clients I've worked with.
Chandra was referred to me by her friends Emebeit Beyene and Crystal Boyd, both of whom I'd also done headshots for in the past. We had a fun time doing a few headshots but mostly body shots. Even though it was cold out, Chandra was a trooper and still took off her jacket to make for some excellent poses, and all in all, the photos turned out great and Chandra has been successfully using them for promotional purposes on her website. I hope to work again with her sometime in the future.
