Do you do this? Or do you skim? Or do you not read it at all?
Bad idea. Read through every line of every contract that you sign because if you don't, you may wind up in a bad situation. Remember that people may say something that sounds good but if it's not in the contract then it wont be valid.
I suggest that you ask for a copy of a contract or read through it entirely before signing.
If they have nothing to hide, then they would be happy to see you reading through the contract.
If they do have something to hide, or if they don't want to give you the time to read it, know that something is fishy, and you shouldn't sign.
Always read through all contacts and if you don't understand something, look it up or as a lawyer. It will save you in the long run.
