I apologize for the double posting today but I will not be available to post an article tomorrow, so I decided to do two today. I will see everyone again on Saturday, as I am currently about to leave on a trip to Washington DC!
Actors Need to Release their Emotions:
This is crucial if you really want to act. I'm not trying to tell you how to act, but I am trying to give you a tip if you don't already know this. Those actors who are in touch with their emotions are typically much better at acting as well.
The reason that being in touch with your emotions is so helpful is because it allows you more control over them. Remember that if you typically hide your emotions and never release them in real life, it will be much harder to release them on camera when you have to. Not all characters that you might play will try to hide their emotions. If you can't play those characters who show their emotions all the time well, you have severely limited your options.
So be sure to free up your emotions so that you can much more easily display each one whenever. It will help you out in a snap if you ever need it, and you'll be much more likely to get hired for a wider range of roles.
