I can't stress how important it is to constantly be learning new types of acting. Never let yourself get rusty, and know that this happens fairly frequently to actors.
The problem is that a lot if actors will get good and one technique, then move onto another one, and let the diet technique grow old. They won't keep practicing it.
Learn new techniques but continue practicing the old. There are a lot of workshops out there that will allow you to brush up on your skills, and I definitely recommend that you look into some of them, the reason being that as soon as you get rusty in a skill, you won't even realize it!
Did you hear that? When you get rusty at a skill, you won't know it. You'll just start noticing that you aren't getting as many callbacks as you were. Attend some workshops or even ask your friends (actors) to give you some feedback on your technique.
But don't let the fear of becoming rusty stop you from constantly learning new techniques in acting, because they will help you greatly in getting more work.
