- We’ll match your specs (or recommend a style) – If you're with a company that has photo requirements, we’ll meet them exactly. If not, we can suggest a professional look that fits your role and industry.
- Online scheduling, quick & easy sessions – Most shoots take just 10–15 minutes and can be easily scheduled through our online booking system. Need more time or variety? We’re happy to accommodate.
- Same-day or next-day bookings, flexible hours – We offer quick availability on both weekdays and weekends, including before and after typical work hours.
- Convenient locations – Visit us at our NYC studio (near Grand Central and Times Square) or our NJ studio (right off Route 17 in Ho Ho Kus).

FREQUENT QUESTIONS
How long until I get my final images?
Your image gallery will be sent as high-res JPEGs via a download link by no later than 8pm. Retouching usually takes 2-3 business days, and if you need something right away, just let us know and we'll do our best to make it happen.
What is a CORPCODE and how do I use it?
CORPCODES are 4 digit codes we give to companies who set up accounts with us for employee shoots. We'll lock your company in for a discounted rate for all future individuals who book with us, and match specs exactly, along with CC'ing a particular contact person from your company whenever images are sent out.
To receive a discounted CORPCODE rate, please email us at [email protected] and we'll set up your company (it can be done very fast, sometimes even for same-day shoots).
If you already have a CORPCODE, click here to go to our CORPCODE shoot scheduler. Just choose one of the CORPCODE package options, and then include your code formatted as CORPCODEXXXX (replacing the X's with your code) in the "Any CODE?" section.
Do I need to arrive early if I booked makeup with my shoot?
No need! We have built in the extra time to the shoot length itself. Please arrive no more than 5-7 minutes before your scheduled shoot start time.
Can you shoot at a different location?
We absolutely can, but you'll need to email us at [email protected] so we can coordinate and let you know the total rate. Booking with our online scheduling software only allows enough time for shoots done at or near our studios.
Do you have a place for me to change?
We have a privacy changing screen or if you'd like, there is a restroom you can change in. You will have a few minutes before your shoot begins to do some makeup touchups and get ready.
What format are the images shot in?
Images are shot digital, RAW, and in color (if you need, we can convert a photo to black and white for no additional charge). We convert them and send them to you in high-res JPEGs. We will send you the photos via an online, private download link.
Can you make me look more tan or thin?
We can definitely alter the way you look in Photoshop or with lighting and camera angles during the shoot. It's generally advised that you look as close as possible to the way you do in real life, but it's totally up to you!
Do I need to bring my own clothes?
Yes. Because everyone is a different size, wears different styles, and there are sanitary issues, we do not have clothing here for you. Please bring your own clothing when you come and we can help you decide what will work best. Learn what colors and clothing look best on camera.
What else should I bring?

How does payment work?
We can take credit cards or cash, and send invoices for check or ACH if you're from a company with a CORPCODE account. For non-CORPCODE shoots, a deposit is due to confirm your booking, and balance payments are made at the end of the session.
Should I choose The Classic Headshot or The Signature Session?
The Signature Session is great for different looks and options with natural lighting and blurred backgrounds, while The Classic Headshot is good for simpler, flat backdrops. Check out Our Backdrop Recommendations here.
Can I use my own makeup artist?
You may opt to use your own hair stylist or makeup artist for your shoot, however please note that we are unable to add extra time for styling, and they must use their own equipment & makeup. We recommend you come mostly camera-ready and then your stylist can make some final touchups before we begin shooting. It is best to use a stylist who specializes in headshot photography and understands what works well on camera.
